Our projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works, and pipeline rehabilitation—complex infrastructure that helps build better communities.
About the opportunity We're seeking Environmental Advisors to join our project teams working on key infrastructure upgrades in Dapto, Pitt Town, and Blacktown.
These roles involve on-site work supporting civil projects such as road upgrades, new bridges, intersection improvements, and flood resilience infrastructure.
You will help ensure these projects meet environmental compliance and sustainability goals, contributing to long-term community benefits.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: Providing operational environmental and sustainability guidance to promote best practices and compliance Developing, reviewing, and supporting construction environmental management plans, risk assessments, and sustainability plans Conducting risk assessments, inspections, audits, and investigating incidents for prompt resolution Identifying and managing environmental and sustainability risks to ensure compliance Providing technical environmental input during the tender process Educating project teams on environmental and sustainability requirements Liaising with clients, government bodies, and regulatory authorities on environmental matters Monitoring and reporting on sustainability and environmental performance throughout the project lifecycle What you'll bring to the team5+ years of experience as an Environmental Advisor in Civil Construction Qualifications in Environmental Science or a related field, with knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations Experience applying and managing environmental standards, especially ISO 14001, on complex projects Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and collaborate with teams, clients, and regulators A strategic approach to risk management and proactive solutions for environmental compliance and sustainability Ability to integrate environmental goals into project objectives, fostering a culture of excellence Why you should work with us Our people are our greatest asset.
