Strategic Advisor Role">

The Strategic Advisor serves as a senior leadership member, coordinating priority and strategic activities for the organization. They drive excellence in governance and decision-making, ensuring timely and high-quality advice is available to the Executive Director.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining an understanding of government, departmental, and divisional priorities, risks, and issues.
  • Providing advice and management support to the Executive Director to achieve the organization's key priorities.
  • Designing, delivering, and maintaining core governance functions for the organization.
  • Strategically designing and developing the delivery of organizational objectives to meet departmental and government priorities.
  • Synthesizing high-level specialist advice and support to the Executive Director on strategic policy and operational matters.
  • Oversight of organizational operational and reporting activities, including divisional processes.
  • Fostering strong connections across the organization and with external stakeholders to facilitate partnerships.

This role requires a deep understanding of government priorities, excellent governance skills, and the ability to provide high-level advice and support to the Executive Director.
