Job Title: Support Worker

Are you an experienced Youth Worker looking for a challenge?

This role involves supporting vulnerable young people with high needs in a therapeutic environment.

  • Support children/young people to achieve personal goals
  • Assist children/young people to build their personal resilience and navigate complex emotions and triggers
  • Support connection to family & culture
  • Encourage and aid participation in education & extracurricular activities to promote competence and stability in day-to-day life
About the Role:

The Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) model supports children and young people who are unable to be supported in foster care or require specialized and intensive supports to maintain stability in their care arrangements.

This role requires working a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, sleepovers, and if a client needs change (awake night shift).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport and daily care as required
  • Work alongside our clinical and casework team with children and young people at the forefront of all practice
