Job DescriptionRole Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sterilisation Technician to join our team in a Full Time/ Part Time/ Casual capacity. You will work in our main theatre complex with a variety of shifts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process and maintain all surgical instruments and equipment according to AS/NZS 5369 guidelines.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure effective sterilisation processes are implemented and maintained.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of sterilisation processes and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflow processes to meet productivity and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Sterilisation Technology or equivalent knowledge.
  • Previous experience as a Sterilisation Technician in a healthcare facility.
  • Strong understanding of relevant infection control and sterilisation guidelines.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Desirable Skills
  • Endoscope reprocessing skills.
  • Experience with loan kit processes.
