Sterilisation Technician (CSSD Tech)
About You
We are currently looking for experienced sterilisation technicians to join our CSSD team, in Full Time/ Part Time/ Casual capacities. You will be working in our main theatre complex, with a variety of shifts.
Essential Criteria
- Sterilisation Technology Certificate III or recognised prior knowledge
- Previous experience as a Sterilisation technician within a healthcare facility
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant infection control and Sterilisation guidelines, including AS/NZS 5369
- Excellent time management and organization skills with attention to detail
- Strong collaborative interpersonal communication skills, well-developed verbal and written communication
- Must be able to work a rotating roster, including night shifts, Fridays and weekends, when required
- Ability to work in a busy environment with changing shift priorities and work demands
- Endoscope reprocessing skills
- Experience with loan kit processes
