">In the role of CSSD Technician, you will be responsible for reprocessing reusable medical devices to ensure they are properly decontaminated and sterilised. This is a critical process that requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
">About the Role
">You will work within a team to process instruments, trays, and equipment in a timely manner. Your duties may include inspecting devices, cleaning and disinfecting them, and packaging them for sterilisation. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your work and collaborating with other staff members to meet departmental goals.
">Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you should have a Certificate 3 qualification in Sterilising Services or currently working towards it. Prior experience in a Sterilising Unit is desirable, but not necessary. You must be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and maintain high operational standards at all times.
">- You will work effectively within a team to achieve shared goals.
- You will apply strong knowledge of AS 5369:2023 principles.
- You will provide exceptional customer service in both internal and external settings.
