About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive our Family Health and Wellbeing initiative, ensuring a holistic approach to improving health outcomes for individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Framework Implementation: Develop and execute the Children's Ground Family Health & Wellbeing Framework to enhance health and wellbeing across diverse communities.
  • Population Health Management: Establish and manage population health priorities, implementing responses to improve health outcomes in collaboration with local communities.
  • Culturally Sensitive Team Leadership: Lead the Family Health and Wellbeing Team in a culturally appropriate manner, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Health Integration: Support the integration of health and wellbeing into our Early Childhood Curriculum, promoting comprehensive development.
  • Family Planning and Support: Develop, coordinate, and implement family health and wellbeing plans, addressing the needs of local First Nations people.
  • System Navigation: Assist local First Nations people in navigating public, not-for-profit, and private health systems, ensuring equitable access to care.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ledership Experience: Proven leadership experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams, with a focus on cultural sensitivity and community engagement.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that address complex health issues, driving positive change in diverse communities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
  • Cultural Competence: Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures and histories, with the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural settings.
