Job Overview

Mental Health Professionals are sought after to provide clinical assessments and interventions to individuals with mental health diagnoses who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

The role involves providing comprehensive support, coordination, and clinical services to address the complex needs of this vulnerable population.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans to address the unique needs of clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective interventions and support services.
  • Engage with hard-to-reach populations using assertive outreach methods to promote stability and access to healthcare services.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licence are mandatory. Please refer to the Role Description for further information regarding qualifications, registration, and membership.
  • A valid C Class Motor Vehicle Licence is required.
  • Significant experience in a clinical setting is essential prior to appointment.
  • Pre-employment screening, including Criminal History checks, will be conducted.
  • This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to various diseases.
  • A period of probation may apply.
