About The Role

The Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) offers goal-oriented, time-limited, and therapy-focused care to empower older adults to thrive in the comfort of their own homes by guiding them toward safety, independence, and dignity. Your expertise as an Occupational Therapist can be the bridge between vulnerability and vibrant living.

The Aged Care Division is based in Dubbo and delivers a range of clinical and non-clinical services across the entire Local Health District (including Orange) to support older people in their families to remain supported in their home.

The Aged Care teams and programs are committed to advocacy, restorative care, and reablement back to wellness and independence. The position offers cooperation and support within a strong leadership team and involves significant challenges in a changing aged care environment impacted by growing patient populations and health reforms.

You will work closely with the TACP team, Allied Health Team Leader, and TACP Manager. This is a new position with scope for hybrid models of care delivery.
