Claims Service Team Leader Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to lead our team in delivering exceptional claims handling service. As a Claims Service Team Leader, you will:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality claims handling service
  • Drive customer satisfaction through effective team management
  • Ensure compliance with administrative, regulatory, and reporting requirements
  • Develop process efficiencies for operational excellence

About You

  • You should have demonstrable experience in claims handling, preferably in General Property Insurance claims
  • Strong leadership attributes and coaching skills to mentor colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills
  • A resilient attitude and ability to influence favourable outcomes for stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Internal Claims Adjusters and Administration Assistants
  • Champion and promote client workflow within the team
  • Assist in the learning, development, and training of employees under your supervision
  • Implement dispute resolution strategies and manage escalations
  • Review and manage operational performance, including adherence to client, industry KPI's, service delivery, and quality

Requirements

  • Leadership experience (desired)
  • Ability to follow procedures and policies
  • Interpret and adhere to compliance Service Level Agreements requirements
  • Previous experience in a high-volume call centre, retail, or customer service role
  • Technical experience in Property claims, including policy interpretation and claims handling processes (desired)
