Job Title: Operations Shift Manager, Logistics

A key leadership role involves leading a team of Amazon associates within our Delivery Station in Adelaide, South Australia.

The selected candidate will be responsible for motivating, mentoring, and coaching the team to maintain high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

  • Lead and Develop: Lead a team of Amazon associates, develop their skills, and motivate them to achieve high performance standards.
  • Maintain Health and Safety Standards: Maintain health and safety standards while promoting a health and safety culture on-site.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with support teams to develop plans that meet business objectives.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify and lead process improvement initiatives and lean tools.
  • Physical Requirements: Prioritize physical requirements, which include pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching varying weights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: Working experience in operations, supply chain/logistics, or a related field.
  • Management Experience: Experience as a manager involving sizable teams.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Capabilities: Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
  • Authorization to Work: Authorized to work in Australia without sponsorship.
