We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design of our Data Centers across the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating innovative electrical designs that meet our high standards for safety, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical design projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement electrical design solutions that meet our business needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify electrical equipment and ensure timely delivery.
- Work with local utilities to understand and define site utility requirements, ensuring seamless integration with our Data Center operations.
- Review and approve equipment submittals, ensuring compliance with our quality standards.
- Provide technical support for information requests prior to and during construction phases, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Travel to sites for site reviews and work with onsite field engineers to ensure electrical systems are properly tested and validated.
- 6+ years of experience in mission-critical electrical design, with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Comprehensive understanding of various code requirements across the APAC region, including MV and LV electrical equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and high-quality standards.
- Cross-discipline design coordination experience, with the ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.
