Internal Audit Transformation Lead

Reporting to the Group General Manager - Internal Audit, you will be responsible for delivering initiatives aligned with state-based independent monitors' requirements and the Internal Audit Uplift Plan. You will work independently, leveraging extensive experience in best practice internal audit operational processes.

This is an exciting time to join Crown Internal Audit as we support the business through a significant regulatory review and process reformation programme.

  • Develop the FY23-FY25 Internal Audit Strategy
  • Finalise the Assurance Map, validate data with management, and prepare a Board paper for approval
  • Establish the IT Audit Universe and proposed IT Audit Plan
  • Implement accepted improvement opportunities and good practices from external quality reviews
  • Design a reporting mechanism to capture data and report on balance scorecard metrics
  • Identify critical skills, create development plans, and a sourcing strategy to ensure the team's adequacy
  • Prepare the assurance approach for regulatory transformation activities
  • Participate in special projects as directed by the Group General Manager - Internal Audit

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of Internal Audit experience
  • Senior leadership experience within Internal Audit or a top-tier Chartered Accounting firm
  • Experience in developing and implementing Internal Audit frameworks
  • Prior competence in developing Audit strategies to mitigate business risk
  • Influence over senior Executives on business-critical risk areas
