Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage the migration of long service leave data into a new Payroll and Time & Attendance system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing this high-impact project from start to finish.

  • You will need to extrapolate timesheet data from multiple payroll systems across different states, converting calculations from hours to weeks for migration into the new system.
  • Handling both straightforward and complex cases, depending on service history and legacy employer arrangements, will be an essential part of your role.
  • You will also investigate and verify data, including paper-based records, and apply the correct long service leave codes with accuracy and compliance in mind.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Solid, practical knowledge of long service leave and how to interpret entitlements.
  • Demonstrated payroll experience, including a strong understanding of long service leave legislation and entitlements.
  • High attention to detail, investigative skills for legacy and paper-based data, and the ability to work independently while following direction from the Payroll Manager.

This is a 10-week contract with immediate start, flexible start and finish times—7.6 hours per day, work-from-home Mondays and Tuesdays, and based in South Brisbane.
