About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic lifeguards who are passionate about ensuring safety in aquatic environments. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a community-focused setting and are committed to maintaining a secure and enjoyable atmosphere for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pool operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons in and around the pool area.
- Engage with visitors to promote water safety and provide excellent customer service.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication abilities.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards relevant to aquatic facilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certification.
- National Police Check clearance.
- Valid Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Current Pool Operations Certificate is preferred but not required.
