About the Job

We are currently looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for implementing daily night load plans, ensuring efficient delivery of goods while minimizing costs.

This challenging and rewarding role involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including drivers, subcontractors, and customers to ensure seamless execution. You will be responsible for allocating and scheduling drivers/subcontractors to achieve daily workloads promptly and cost-effectively.

You will also supervise subcontractors and fleet requirements, manage transport documentation, and maintain close communication with on-site customers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of daily workloads.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Transport Allocator/Scheduler in a busy logistics environment
  • In-depth understanding of load configurations, weights, and truck trailer type allocation
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and utilization of a TMS and WMS
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Good knowledge of compliance requirements (CoR, OH&S, fatigue, mass limits)
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
