Job Position: Advanced Mainframe Software Specialist

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-performance mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and debugging tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance complex mainframe software systems to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical solutions for business problems.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored mainframe application development services.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of mainframe operating systems, such as z/OS and z/VSE.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with PL/I, MQ Series or Rocket Data z/Services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in maintaining technical documentation.
