Mainframe Security Consultant

This short-term consulting engagement focuses on mainframe security and software migration. Our client requires expert guidance on IBM mainframe security architecture and controls.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of the migration strategy to IBM Security software on Z.
  • Provide expert-level consultation on IBM mainframe security architecture and controls.
  • Advise on software migration best practices and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with teams to assess current systems and define migration pathways.
  • Deliver recommendations and documentation to support secure implementation.
Required Expertise
  • More than 20 years of experience in IBM mainframe security and software migration.
  • Deep technical expertise in IBM Z platform and security tooling.
  • A proven track record in federal or highly regulated environments.
  • The ability to lead strategic reviews and produce actionable deliverables.

  • A comprehensive review of the migration strategy to IBM Security software on Z.
  • Expert recommendations and documentation to support secure implementation.
