Job Description

The role of a paediatric physiotherapist is to work with children of all ages to help them reach their full potential.

This involves evaluating the medical history and movement abilities of new patients, developing treatment plans based on medical diagnoses, and providing massage therapy, mobilization and manipulation of muscles and joints, as well as treatment using physiotherapy equipment.

Physiotherapists also teach patients exercises to strengthen and increase motor abilities, correct posture and movements, and provide family-centered care.

In addition, comprehensive assessments are conducted for children with physical disabilities or developmental delays, play-based therapy techniques are implemented, and mobility aids and assistive devices are recommended.
