About the RoleThis part-time position involves working within the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS), a state-wide specialist service catering to the complex rehabilitation needs of children and adolescents. You will be responsible for providing physiotherapy services to children and adolescents with various conditions, including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic surgery, multi-trauma, spasticity management in cerebral palsy, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and other complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide goal-based interventions for children following acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic surgery, multi-trauma, spasticity management in cerebral palsy, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and other complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment programs to maximize patient outcomes.
- A physiotherapy degree qualification from an accredited course/university.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Satisfy the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Continuing Professional Development and Recency of Practice Guidelines.
- Uphold the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct.
