Job DescriptionThis role offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to lead engagements, manage client portfolios, and contribute to the firm's commitment to professional excellence.
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for a range of clients, overseeing tax compliance processes, managing client relationships, mentoring junior accountants, and conducting financial analysis and reporting.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CA or CPA qualification
- 4+ years of experience in tax or business services within a CA or CPA firm
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax compliance and accounting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and Microsoft Office Suite
