A key aspect of this role is to assess, diagnose, and manage the health needs of elderly patients. To achieve this, we are looking for a skilled professional who can work effectively in a team environment and provide high-quality patient care.


In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to integrate your care with that of other multidisciplinary team members, ensuring seamless delivery of services to our patients.


Requirements

  • Registration by the Medical Board of Australia is required.
  • A fellowship from the Australasian College for Emergency medicine or equivalent qualification is necessary.
  • Substantial postgraduate medical experience in emergency medicine and hospital practice is preferred.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development is essential.
  • Possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills is crucial for success in this position.
  • Ability to lead and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and effective clinical risk management.
  • Familiarity with legislative requirements for Equal Opportunity, Disability Services, and Workplace Health and Safety.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assess and diagnose the healthcare needs of older adults. 

• Manage and coordinate care with other multidisciplinary team members.
