As a Lift Attendant/Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ski lifts, while also providing a warm welcome and expert knowledge to our visitors.

With over 300 hectares of spectacular skiable terrain and 80kms of groomed trails, we offer an amazing ski area that is accessed via Victoria's largest lifting network of 21 lifts operated by skilled and safety-conscious Lift Attendants/Operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently operate ski lifts, assisting guests with loading, unloading, and safety procedures to ensure everyone gets home safely every day.
  • Maximise lift capacity by managing guest loading during peak times to ensure our guests spend more time on the slopes than in the line.
  • Perform manual snow removal as needed to keep things safe and pretty.
  • Monitor Ski Data gate systems to ensure smooth access and optimal loading.
  • Provide guests with lift passes, mountain information, and product knowledge to help them make the most of their day, every day.
Requirements
  • Available to work from the commencement of the winter season until the end of the season.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Ability to maintain a pleasant, professional manner under pressure and during extremely busy times.
  • Own ski/snowboard equipment including helmet.
  • Ability to physically work outdoors in different weather extremes and terrains, while still maintaining a friendly and positive disposition.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Previous skiing and boarding experience will hold you in good stead as you ride to your lift stations and back each day.
