Senior Partnerships and Engagement Manager

Deakin University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Partnerships and Engagement to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for conceptualising local plans, providing expert advice, and establishing strong connections with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement local plans that align with university and faculty strategies in the areas of partnerships and engagement, monitoring progress and risks.
- Provide strategic advice to the Faculty on matters relating to partnerships and engagement, including regular reporting on opportunities and challenges within this space.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with teams such as Faculty Marketing, Academic Services, and Deakin International, ensuring effective knowledge sharing across teams.
- Connect functional responsibilities within the team, ensuring a cohesive response to opportunities and issues that span the partnerships and engagement space.
- Analyse complex problems, weigh up options, and identify accessible and inclusive solutions, translating complex issues into clear and understandable goals and targets for Deakin.
- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Extensive experience working collaboratively and effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders and/or clients from business, government, or community sectors and students.
- Experience working within an organisation with complex administrative structures, policies, and procedures, preferably within the higher education sector.
