The Role:

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will play a critical role in supporting the manufacturing segment across multiple states, functioning as a Subject Matter Expert of steel making, rod & bar rolling, and processing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the manufacturing segment across multiple states
  • Leading change management and technical leadership through all stages of new technology adoption
  • Identifying new opportunities for commercialized technologies
  • Providing active and hands-on support towards new technology projects and commissioning
  • Couching and mentoring engineers and graduates in technology applications
  • Advancing the environmental sustainability of the operations within manufacturing

Requirements:

  • An Engineering qualification (Metallurgy, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) and/or equivalent extensive attainment of technical know-how
  • A broad overview of steelmaking, smelting, or metallurgical technologies
  • Strong business acumen complimented by problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication with the ability to compile a business case
  • Demonstrated experience with maintaining OEM and technology network/partner relationships
  • Proven ability to motivate, influence, mentor, and coach the team's actions to achieve outcomes understanding the long-term implications on the business

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

This salary range is based on your experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive salary package, including superannuation and other benefits.
