About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Security Officer to join our team at The Star Gold Coast. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances, and take appropriate action to resolve the situation
  • Document and report security-related incidents, accidents, and violations in accordance with internal protocols
  • Monitor access to restricted areas and ensure that only authorized personnel have access
Requirements
  • Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
  • QLD Certificate 2 or 3 in Security Operations, including a Crowd Control module
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate, including CPR module
  • Previous experience in high-volume crowd control
  • A high standard of grooming and a professional appearance
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster
