Project Manager Opportunity

Join our dynamic Projects team as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for leading residential and accommodation projects across Queensland. We are seeking an experienced professional with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.

About the Role

This full-time Senior PM position will provide the opportunity to work on a range of technical and interesting construction projects, including major precincts, mixed-use developments and residential projects. The successful candidate will manage all phases of the project, from brief development through to tender and award, and effectively manage project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project delivery experience in major precincts, mixed-use developments and residential or accommodation projects.
  • Manage all phases of the project to ensure that client objectives are met.
  • Brief development, implementing procurement protocols through to tender and award and effective management of project teams.
  • Manage consultant appointments on behalf of clients in conjunction with allocated staff members.
  • Prepare programs for design, construction and general project delivery.
  • Advise clients on optimal design and construction options and provide concise reports.
  • Ensure seamless handover of works, including defect rectification and operational training where applicable.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in property or construction related discipline.
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager at PM or SPM level (preferably client-side).
  • Exposure to residential and accommodation sectors, including build to sell, rent, PBSA, hotel and affordable living projects.
  • Strong understanding and proven experience with multiple delivery methodologies, particularly head contract, ECI and design and construct.
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Well-presented individual with positive attitude.
  • Experience of project stages from planning through to handover.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow business relationships.
  • Team player willing to contribute to a collaborative team culture and shared values.
