Project Leader

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our new and growing project. As a project leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential jobs, ranging from storm repairs to partial rebuilds and everything in between.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple residential projects from assessment to completion.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver top-quality work.
  • Keep projects on schedule and within expectations while maintaining high standards.
  • Be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and trust.
  • Handle challenges as they arise, solving problems before they become issues.
  • Keep financials in check, ensuring invoicing aligns with project goals.
  • Manage documentation, scope changes, and variations.
  • Resolve onsite issues and keep stakeholders informed.
About You

You will thrive in this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience supervising residential (and/or commercial) construction in the insurance industry.
  • Experience in estimating as part of your previous roles.
  • Trade certification (Cert III) preferred, with Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction a plus.
  • A strong understanding of Australian Standards, the Building Act, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional time management skills; you'll be juggling multiple projects at once.
  • Leadership experience; managing teams, subcontractors, and complex builds.
  • A customer-focused approach; professional, approachable, and confident with clients.
  • A proactive mindset; you take ownership, solve problems, and keep projects moving.
