Process Operator

We are seeking experienced individuals to fill the role of Process Operator in our mining operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production processes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills, with a strong understanding of mineral processing. Experience working in a mining or heavy industry environment is essential, as well as a Western Australian C Class Driver's Licence and other relevant qualifications.

This is a permanent full-time position based at the Karara Mine Site, with an 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster. As a Process Operator, you will be part of a dynamic team that values safety, efficiency and productivity.

  • Safely operate and maintain equipment, including primary and secondary crushing circuits, high-pressure grinding rolls (HPGR), screening, magnetic separation and ball mills.
  • Maintain effective communication lines with other Processing department personnel, ensuring they remain informed and engaged.
  • Work effectively autonomously and as part of a team, remaining accountable for work tasks.

  • Overhead gantry crane
  • Confined space entry/gas testing
  • Working at heights ticket
  • Skid steer
  • National Police Clearance
  • Australian Citizenship or valid visa with permission to work
