Job Overview

We are seeking a Structural Designer to join our team of experienced professionals.

This role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and other designers to transform design concepts into detailed structural plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of drawings, specifications, and calculations during the design phase of a project.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of construction documents.
  • Develop structural designs and analytical models for various building types and materials.
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback from senior designers and project managers.
  • Perform calculations and analyses to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including Tekla Structures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
