Job Title

A Senior Manager is required to lead the Sterile Processing Centre.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the centre's operations, ensuring safe and high-quality sterilization services are delivered across campuses.
  • They will oversee staffing, rostering, recruitment, training, and performance to build a strong, engaged team.
  • Driving compliance, quality standards, audits, and reporting in line with NSW Health requirements is also key to this role.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, patient-focused outcomes is crucial.
  • Championing a positive safety culture while improving processes and driving service excellence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Sterile Processing Centre.
  • Ensure safe and high-quality sterilization services are delivered.
  • Oversee staffing, rostering, recruitment, training, and performance.
  • Drive compliance, quality standards, audits, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Champion a positive safety culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of AS5369:2023 standards.
  • Hands-on experience supervising teams.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
