Remote Medicines Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Northern Territory.
The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing medicines management services to Correctional Facilities in the Top End of the NT. They will work closely with pharmacists, doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimise the quality use of medicines and improve the health of incarcerated Territorians.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical review of client charts
- Provide professional advice in context of correctional setting
- Management and distribution of medications dispensed by contracted pharmacy
- PRN medication dispensing
Benefits of the Role
The Prison Health Clinic is located within the Holtz Correctional Precinct, approximately 25 minutes drive from Darwin CBD. The clinic caters for a population of approximately 2000 people, with about 700 on regular medications. Staff may also work at other correctional sites closer to the Darwin CBD as needed.
