About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Care Professional to join our team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. No weekends are involved in this role.

As a Dental Assistant or Receptionist in our practice, you will contribute to maintaining our amazing customer and team culture by providing continued excellent customer service to our patients.

  • You will be responsible for preparing patients and facilities for dental treatment, delivering quality chairside assistance to our dentists, and providing instrument sterilization.
  • Maintain infection control standards and procedures, meet and greet patients, book and amend appointments, and answer phone calls.
  • Support the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice, making patients aware of dental services and offers, handling payments, and accessing sensitive information while maintaining patient confidentiality.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have

  • Ideally 6+ months experience in Australia as a Dental Assistant or Medical receptionist preferred.
  • A current Working With Children's Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one.
  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded, although not essential - and you'll be compensated with the pay to match your experience level.
  • Skilled at tackling challenges both on your own and as part of a team, while paying close attention to the little things.
  • Strong customer care focus, it is a very busy practice and time management will be crucial.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maturity and reliability.
  • Passionate about customer service/patient care.
  • Maintaining an orderly environment with a knack for systematic approaches.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
