Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist with knowledge of SAP, calibration, and experience in the factory environment.

The ideal candidate will work as part of a laboratory team in a NATA accredited environment, focusing on the analysis of food products and related ingredients. The role requires flexibility for daily changes in laboratory work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform analyses and report results accurately and efficiently
  • Collect and process samples as required
  • Validate and calibrate analysis equipment to ensure high-quality data
  • Support investigations of out-of-specification results to maintain quality standards
  • Assist sensory panels by providing expert analysis and feedback
  • Sent inter-laboratory samples to other facilities
  • Relieve colleagues in other laboratory areas as needed
  • Pursue continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field (diplomas also considered)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and deliver accurate results under pressure
  • Interest in working in Quality Assurance and commitment to excellence
  • Team culture and adaptability
