YOUR OPPORTUNITY

This opportunity will suit a person with knowledge of SAP, calibration and experience in the factory environment. You will work as part of a laboratory team in a NATA accredited environment and will be focussed on the varied analysis of food products and related ingredients. Flexibility is required for daily changes in laboratory work.

Responsibilities
  • Performing analyses and reporting on results
  • Sampling as required
  • Validation and calibration of analysis equipment
  • Supporting the investigation of any out of specification results
  • Assisting with sensory panels
  • Sending of Inter-laboratory samples
  • Relieving in other laboratory areas, including sensory, raw materials, pathogen and microbiological analysis
  • Laboratory continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • A degree in food science/science will be highly regarded (People completing their studies and those with diplomas are also encouraged to apply)
  • Strong communication skills
  • An ability to multi-task and deliver repeatable accurate results
  • A strong interest in working in the Quality Assurance area
  • A culture of working in a team environment
  • The ability to be flexible and adapt at short notice
