As a senior maintenance professional, you have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations.

You will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of skilled technicians working on heavy earthmoving equipment.

Coordinate and oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in the field, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with our company's policies and procedures.

Provide hands-on support and mentoring to maintenance personnel, helping them develop new skills and advance their careers.

Liaise with production and planning departments to prioritise work and minimise equipment downtime, contributing to the success of our business.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and excellence throughout our organisation.

Manage and organise parts, inventory from the warehouse and OEM in both planned and unplanned maintenance, ensuring seamless operations.

Hold a high regard for housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area, setting a positive example for your team and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Supervising certificates and experience in supervising maintenance activities on an operational mine
  • Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter or equivalent heavy vehicle mechanic qualification
  • Proven experience in a leading hand or senior field maintenance role within a mining or heavy industry environment
  • Strong working knowledge of large-scale mining equipment and field maintenance practices
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • High level of commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Current driver's licence and ability to work a rotating roster
  • Post-trade operational mine site experience
  • High risk work license EWP, Dogging, C6 desirable
