General Medical Services Specialist - Correctional Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Medical Services Specialist to provide medical care to patients in correctional environments.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care, ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.

Job Description:
  • Provide general medical services to patients within correctional environments.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Requirements:
  • Certificate of registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP) or Australasian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM).
  • Significant experience in General Practice with knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
