Job Overview:

The role of a Primary Care Medical Officer is to deliver comprehensive medical services to patients in correctional facilities.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care and contribute to the improvement of existing services.

  • Current medical registration with AHPRA
  • FRACGP or FACRRM fellowship
  • Proof of specialist recognition by SAC Award
  • Proven experience in General Practice, with expertise in contemporary clinical management and assessment of acute and chronic medical conditions

Work collaboratively to foster a positive team environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritise clinical activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage complex healthcare needs
  • Develop and implement care plans to enhance patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of a healthy team environment
Requirements:
  • Senior medical professional with extensive General Practice experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
