Commercial Lawyer Opportunity

The role of a commercial lawyer is to provide strategic, business-focused advice across the organisation. This involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, leases, procurement contracts, and property documents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Providing advice on corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance issues
  • Supporting the organisation in responding to disclosures, subpoenas and historic claims
  • Contribute to company secretarial responsibilities and support special projects as required
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, HR and senior leadership to deliver business-driven legal solutions

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 4 – 5 years' post-admission experience, ideally with a background in commercial or property law
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills, with the ability to contextualise advice in a regulated environment
  • Confidence working across a wide range of legal matters with sound judgement and commercial acumen
  • A collaborative style and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Pragmatism, resilience, and a solutions-focused mindset
