**Insurance Professional Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Insurance Group in Brisbane. This role provides legal advice on indemnity, liability, quantum, and third-party contribution.

About the Role:

  • Provide clients with expert legal guidance on indemnity, liability, quantum, and third-party contribution matters.
  • Regularly review relevant case law and legislative changes to stay up-to-date.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to deliver timely, commercial, and legally accurate advice.
  • Attend settlement conferences and mediations to resolve disputes effectively.
  • Instruct counsel at court applications and trials to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Manage a robust workload, prioritizing tasks and delivering services efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to achieve valued customer experience outcomes.
  • Develop an understanding of client operations and strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and manage continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.

About You:

  • A minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • A desire to be an integral member of a cohesive and dynamic team.
  • Excellent work ethic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Previous exposure to business development and a natural ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Ability to manage client expectations and run matters independently.
  • Interest in establishing a long-term successful career in insurance law.
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels and work effectively within a team.
  • Commercial acumen and a strong, plain language communication style.
  • Previous experience in managing workers' compensation common law claims is highly desirable.
