High Voltage Electrician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled High Voltage Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform high-voltage electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of our heavy equipment and other machinery. This will involve working on complex electrical systems, identifying faults, and implementing effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Requirements
  • Relevant HV Electrical Trade qualification and certification
  • Proven experience as an HV Electrician in the automotive or heavy equipment industry, with a focus on mining mobile plant, ideally Komatsu machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and components, including inverters, converters, motors, and high-voltage batteries.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety standards and protocols for high-voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • HV switching certification is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working a 7/7 day shift roster (night shift as required), 12.5 hour shifts. The role is based at one of our mine sites, with regular travel to other locations as required.
