Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Petrol Station Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of our fuel pumps, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

About the Role:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, answer their inquiries, and provide assistance with fueling their vehicles.
  • Fuel Pump Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain fuel pumps, nozzles, hoses, and other equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
  • Stock Management: Monitor fuel levels in storage tanks and request refills from suppliers as needed. Track inventory for items such as motor oil, windshield washer fluid, and other automotive products if available at the station.
  • Safety and Security: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, including following proper procedures for handling hazardous materials. Monitor premises for security concerns and report suspicious activities to management or authorities if necessary.
  • Shift Management: Work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure the petrol station operates smoothly and remains open for customers during designated hours. Collaborate with other team members or supervisors to coordinate shifts and breaks effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of fuel sales, inventory, and transactions using electronic systems or manual logs. Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting procedures established by station management or regulatory authorities.
