Job Opportunity: Commercial Specialist

The role is an exciting chance to work within a collaborative team, supporting the success of various projects.

We are seeking a highly skilled commercial specialist to join our organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with client contracts throughout the project lifecycle.

This includes overseeing project start-up, procurement, delivery, and close-out. You will also be required to liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners, prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients, and manage subcontractors from onboarding to claim assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure contract compliance and manage risks associated with contractual agreements
  • Develop and implement effective project administration and control processes
  • Analyse data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track project commercial performance
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligations
  • Drive commercial outcomes and contribute to the project's overall success

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of project administration, project control, and contract management
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field
  • Positive negotiation, conflict, and influencing skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills
