Cloud Technology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Technology Specialist to manage and design cloud infrastructure using industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-native technologies, software development, and be passionate about working with clients to transform their development teams.

This includes deploying, managing, and scaling Kubernetes clusters using Rancher in cloud and hybrid environments, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Rancher, Kubernetes nodes, workloads, and networking, maintaining high availability and fault tolerance of Rancher-managed clusters.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or similar. They will automate deployment workflows for microservices and containerized applications, version control all infrastructure-related code, and promote GitOps methodologies.

Additionally, the Cloud Technology Specialist will implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog, and implement DevSecOps practices to ensure secure deployments and infrastructure hardening.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Rancher and cloud native technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Rancher, Kubernetes, and networking.
  • Maintain high availability and fault tolerance of cloud managed clusters.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
  • Automate deployment workflows for microservices and containerized applications.
  • Version control all infrastructure-related code and promote GitOps methodologies.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices to ensure secure deployments and infrastructure hardening.
