Cloud Computing Specialist

A Cloud Computing Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the business needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing technologies, including AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Redshift.

The Cloud Computing Specialist will collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to help partners and customers learn and use services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Redshift. This includes delivering technical engagements with partners and customers, participating in pre-sales visits, understanding customer requirements, and creating consulting proposals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS cloud services.
  • Collaborating with pre-sales and delivery teams to help partners and customers learn and use services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Redshift.
  • Delivering technical engagements with partners and customers, including participating in pre-sales visits, understanding customer requirements, and creating consulting proposals.

A day in the life of a Cloud Computing Specialist includes working directly with customers and innovating in a fast-paced organization that contributes to game-changing projects and technologies.

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT implementation.
  • Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical/architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies, including AWS and/or third-party Data Analytics aligned services.
  • Experience coding in Python, R, Matlab, Java or other modern programming language.
