We are seeking an experienced Emergency Response Officer to join our team. This is a full-time role that requires the ability to provide emergency response, injury management and security services across our site.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Maintaining site emergency response in compliance with Major Hazard Facility requirements
- Providing first response medical care for injured employees
- Undertaking fire response, training, routine maintenance of fire protection systems and first aid inspections
- Conducting site security operations, including entrance control, data entry, inspections and reception skills
- Providing technical advice on site fire, rescue, injury management, health and security operations
About the Role
- Respond to all fire, rescue and hazardous materials emergencies onsite
- Participate in fire response and training activities
- Operate and maintain an industrial Health Care Centre
- Conduct Drug and Alcohol Testing - scheduled and casual
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Health Care or Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting Operations)
- Current unrestricted Class C South Australian Drivers License
- Security Agent license (South Australia) or the ability to obtain
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Office
- Able to maintain a high level of fitness
