Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

The key objective of this role is to provide crucial support to Senior Managers in Occupational Rehabilitation and Injury Management matters.
This position plays a pivotal part in ensuring the safe, timely, and durable return of employees to duties following illness or injury.
To achieve this, the successful candidate will develop proactive strategies for case management, utilizing their expertise in Allied Health or an appropriate discipline.
Moreover, they will foster collaborative relationships with other teams to ensure a cohesive approach to workforce safety and wellbeing.
Therefore, we are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation and Injury Management Coordinator who possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice to Senior Managers on occupational rehabilitation and injury management issues.
- Facilitate seamless returns to work for ill and injured employees by developing and implementing effective case management strategies.
- Collaborate with various teams to guarantee a unified approach to workforce safety and wellbeing.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health or an equivalent field.
- Substantial experience in workers compensation and injury management.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
