Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

The Rehabilitation and Injury Management Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting Senior Managers with information and training surrounding Occupational Rehabilitation and Injury Management Issues.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and guidance on rehabilitation and injury management principles.
- Manage a large caseload of complex and long-term cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with Senior Managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for improving workforce safety and wellbeing.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including health workers, managers, and external agencies.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health or an appropriate discipline, or equivalent combination of relevant experience.
- Well-developed oral and written communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Thorough understanding of injury management principles and experience managing complex caseloads.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of Workers Compensation legislation and relevant regulations.
