Electrical Supervisor Role Overview

This is an opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Supervisor with a proven track record in leading teams and ensuring the success of projects.

The successful candidate will have experience in underground mining, project management, and leadership. They will be responsible for undertaking project-specific tasks, leading a team of Leading Hands and Electricians, and maintaining safety standards on site.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, is able to work effectively in a team environment, and has a strong understanding of electrical systems and processes.

The ideal candidate will have a trade certification, AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech, SA Electrical License, and High-risk work License (with WP class). A Working at Heights qualification and Current CPR/LVR would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of electricians and maintenance personnel
  • Manage and supervise electrical installations and repairs
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Develop and implement safe working procedures and protocols
  • Monitor and report on project progress and budget

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory role
  • Previous underground mining experience
  • Trade certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
  • SA Electrical License
  • High-risk work License (with WP class)
