Construction Dispute Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the Construction Disputes practice.
As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for delivering commercially minded and strategic solutions to industry-leading clients across various sectors including infrastructure, real estate, mining, and the energy transition.
The role requires:
- Managing domestic and international arbitration proceedings with expertise and professionalism.
- Representing clients in formal proceedings in the Supreme Court and Federal Court, using your analytical skills to defend their interests.
- Effectively managing claims and disputes arising during the delivery phase of major projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions.
- Collaborating with colleagues on adjudication proceedings under security of payment legislation, leveraging your experience and knowledge to achieve successful outcomes.
- Working across various alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation, expert determination, and contractual dispute advisory boards, to find mutually beneficial solutions.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with hybrid working arrangements (60% in the office), allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
Key Requirements:
Experience in construction disputes at a top-tier firm or large Australian firm is highly valued. You must have:
- Proven experience working with clients during litigation or large arbitration proceedings, demonstrating your ability to manage complex cases.
- The ability to establish a strong professional profile and internal networks, fostering collaboration and opportunities for growth.
